Arise Crossover Shadow Rank List

Arise Crossover shadow rank list: the E to SS ladder, how G and N shadows are made, level caps and what the new GL ranks are known to need.

5 min readLast checked Sources

The Arise Crossover shadow rank list runs from E at the bottom to SS, then on to the merged G and N ranks in this Roblox shadow-army game. Every shadow you extract starts low and can be fused upward, and each rank has a higher level cap. This guide lays out the ladder, how the merges work, the two conflicting sets of level caps and what is still unknown about the new GL ranks.

Arise Crossover shadow rank list: E to SS

The basic ladder is E, D, C, B, A, S and SS. Destructoid explains that you collect each rank of the same shadow and fuse the set to reach SS. That means a shadow you want at SS needs a copy at every step below it, so keep duplicates instead of selling them. This Arise Crossover shadow rank list only covers rank rules; browse the full roster in the Arise Crossover shadows hub to see what you can collect.

Each step is a merge, not a drop: you do not find an SS shadow in the world, you build it from lower ranks of the same unit. The SS rank shadow is the point where most players call a shadow finished for mid-game content. It is also the starting material for the next two ranks.

How to upgrade shadows to G rank and N rank

Past SS the merge needs more than copies. According to the same Destructoid guide:

  • G rank: six SS shadows plus tickets and Common or Rare Dust.
  • N rank: six G shadows plus tickets and Legendary Dust.

The guide gives no ticket counts or dust amounts, so we list none. Reading it as a chain, one N shadow takes six G shadows, and each G takes six SS, so these ranks cost a lot of copies. Check the Arise Crossover tier list before spending that much on one shadow, and see the Arise Crossover damage list for published damage figures.

Shadow level caps by rank

Guides disagree on the level cap for each rank, and we cannot tell which is right for the current game. Both sets are shown as reported.

The Backdash lists every cap. A second guide differs only on SS, where it gives 200 instead of 225. Caps matter because a shadow at its limit stops gaining damage until you merge it up a rank. Treat all caps as unconfirmed; test one shadow yourself before you plan around them.

New GL and GL+ shadow ranks

The Halloween update stamped October 31, 2026 added GL and GL+ ranks, along with 26 new shadows. The developer has not published the GL rank requirements yet; we will add them when a source confirms them. The Roblox page also does not say whether these ranks are for shadows, players or both. Player progression is covered in the Arise Crossover ranks guide, and the Arise Crossover update page tracks the rest of the patch.

Gear helps shadows scale too: see the Arise Crossover weapons and Arise Crossover relics pages, and the Arise Crossover Halloween event page for the new GL ranks.

Arise Crossover shadow rank list FAQ

How do I get an SS rank shadow?

Collect every lower rank of the same shadow, E through S, and fuse them. Destructoid describes this as combining the set to reach SS.

What do I need for a G rank?

Six SS copies of the shadow plus tickets and Common or Rare Dust, as reported by Destructoid. Exact ticket and dust counts are not published.

What is the level cap for SS?

It depends on the guide: 225 in one, 200 in another. We cannot confirm which is current.

Do GL shadows exist yet?

The GL and GL+ ranks were announced with the October 2026 update. Requirements are unknown. Start with the Arise Crossover beginner guide to build the shadows you will need first.
