Arise Crossover ranks are the player ranks you earn by passing tests in this Roblox shadow-army game from CL GAMES!. Each rank-up makes your character hit harder, and the top ranks ask for a lot of damage before the test even starts. This guide covers how the tests work, what is reported for the M and M+ ranks, what the older N ranks needed and what the October 2026 update changed.
How Arise Crossover ranks and the Rank Test work
Your first rank comes from the Rank Test on Solo Levelling Island. It is a run through the Dark Dungeon: 20 rooms, and you have 10 minutes to clear them. Gamezebo reports that every rank-up adds +5 to your overall damage, so the test is worth doing as soon as you can pass it.
Player ranks are separate from shadow ranks. Shadows have their own ladder, covered in the Arise Crossover shadow rank list. If you are still new, start with the Arise Crossover beginner guide and come back once the first Rank Test is in reach.
Arise Crossover M rank and M+ rank requirements
The M rank is the next big step after the early ranks. Itemlevel reports the following figures from May 2025, so treat them as a snapshot and not a current requirement.
| Rank | Test requirement reported | Weapon damage | Shadow damage | Shadow levels |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| M | At least 70 Qi DPS | 5.8x | 13x | +70 |
| M+ | Around 6 Sx+ DPS | 7.1x | 16x | +80 |
The same guide describes the multipliers as what the rank gives your weapon and shadows, and the shadow levels as an increase to your levels. The game uses large DPS suffixes, so the numbers only make sense once your shadows are deep into the upper ranks. The best damage comes from shadows that are already strong, so check the Arise Crossover shadows hub and the Arise Crossover damage list before you queue the test.
N and N+ ranks in older guides
Before M and M+ were the targets for these ranks, one endgame guide lists N+ as needing about 350 to 400 QA DPS in April 2025. It says the top of the ladder was later moved to M and M+. We have no current N or N+ requirement, and no source confirms whether those ranks still exist in the same form.
What changed in the October 2026 update
The Halloween update, stamped October 31, 2026 on the Roblox page, added new GL and GL+ ranks. The page does not say whether they are player ranks or shadow ranks, and we have found no requirements or rewards. The developer has not published them yet; we will add them when a source confirms them. For everything else in that patch, see the Arise Crossover update page.
Arise Crossover ranks are a moving target, so check the date on any guide you read. Because the 2025 figures above predate this update, they may be out of date. Checking the Arise Crossover codes for boosts is a safe way to speed up a test attempt, and the Arise Crossover map shows where to level between tries.
Titles add their own bonuses on top of rank-ups, so check the Arise Crossover titles list, and the Arise Crossover dungeons page for the runs that feed weapon mastery.
Arise Crossover ranks FAQ
How do I take the Rank Test?
Go to Solo Levelling Island and enter the Dark Dungeon. You clear 20 rooms in 10 minutes, and passing gives your first rank and +5 overall damage per Gamezebo.
What does the M rank need?
One guide reported at least 70 Qi DPS for the M Rank Test in May 2025, with 5.8x weapon damage, 13x shadow damage and +70 shadow levels as the reward. Those figures are not confirmed for the current version.
Are player ranks the same as shadow ranks?
No. Player ranks are earned by tests and add damage to your character. Shadow ranks run from E up through SS and beyond, and you raise them by merging copies.
What are the GL and GL+ ranks?
They arrived with the October 2026 update. Their requirements and effects are not published yet, and it is not clear whether they apply to players or shadows. Visit the Arise Crossover wiki home page for new findings.
